Gas- und Dampfturbinen

Ein Gas-und-Dampf-Kombikraftwerk ist ein großes Kraftwerk, welches mindestens eine Gasturbine und eine Dampfturbine enthält. In der Regel wird die Gasturbine mit Erdgas befeuert, und das noch heiße Abgas dient über einen Abhitzekessel zum Betrieb einer nachgeschalteten Dampfturbine. Idealerweise erfolgt die Dampferzeugung in mehreren Druckstufen; Stand der Technik ist der Drei-Druck-Prozess. Unter Umständen wird der Dampfkessel noch zusätzlich befeuert.
